ABOUT MICKEY GILLEY & JOHNNY LEE

Mickey Gilly was known to be one of Pasadena's most popular acts in the 60s. By the mid-seventies, his songs were hitting the country charts with regularity. His hits “City Lights”, “I Overlooked and Orchid”, and “Don’t the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time” all reached number one on the Billboard Country Charts.
Johnny Lee, was born in Texas City, Texas, and is a member of the “Texas Country Music Hall of Fame”. In 1968, he began a 10-year working relationship with Mickey Gilley, at the World Famous Nightclub “Gilley’s” in Pasadena, Texas.
Gilley and Lee have earned an outstanding 38 Chart singles with 20 #1 hits including Gilley's "Room Full of Roses" and Lee's "Cherokee Fiddle" and "Lookin' for Love." Sharing 10 years of their music careers together, these two legends bring back some of their chart-topping songs completed with memories of the 1980 hit movie, Urban Cowboy.
