OHIO PLAYERS
American funk, soul music and R&B band Ohio Players originated in Dayton, Ohio. The band was most popular in the 1970’s, when they enjoyed a glittery high-fashion image and created a rock controversy with their risqué album covers. Their singles "Funky Worm", "Skin Tight", "Fire", and "Love Rollercoaster" were Gold certified. In 2013, Ohio Players were inducted into the inaugural class of the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame. The band continues to extensively tour all over the country, selling out arenas and delighting fans all over, with their bottom-heavy, horn-driven sound.
