ABOUT STEPHEN MARLEY

Son of the legendary king of reggae, Bob Marley and his wife Rita Marley, Stephen "Raggamuffin" Marley is an eight-time Grammy Award winner. The Jamaican-American musician first appeared on record in 1979, when he was only six years old. Stephen played a supportive role, from the beginning as guitarist, singer, and occasional songwriter in the Melody Makers, a band fronted by his brother Ziggy Marley. After Bob Marley's death, the Melody Makers continued with Ziggy taking over as the group's leader. After spending many years in the background as a producer, and backing big brother Ziggy, Stephen finally became a solo artist, releasing the albums “Mind Control,” "Mind Control Acoustic,” "Revelation Part I: The Root of Life,” and "Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life." All Stephen's albums reached the number 1 position on the Billboard reggae charts.
