American rock band from Chicago that formed in 1972, Styx is a ‘multi mega million-selling’ rock band that has forged an indelible legacy both on record and onstage. Best known for melding hard rock guitar balanced with acoustic guitar, synthesizers mixed with acoustic piano and upbeat tracks with power ballads, Styx had eight songs that hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Lady", "Come Sail Away", "Babe", , "Too Much Time on My Hands", "Mr. Roboto" and "The Best of Times."
