ABOUT THE STYLISTICS

Formed in Philadelphia, PA, The Stylistics are an American soul group that formed in 1968. During the early 1970s, the group had twelve consecutive R&B top ten hits, including "Stop, Look, Listen", "You Are Everything" and "Betcha by Golly, Wow." Their first song "You're a Big Girl Now" became a number 1 hit in Philadelphia and a few other cities. After releasing the highly successful first album, the band began to tour and record throughout the latter half of the '70s. The Stylistics continue to perform on oldies shows into the '90 and put on spectacular shows to this day. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004.
