ABOUT VIXEN

Often described as "the female Bon Jovi," rock band Vixen was founded by high school guitarist Jan Kuehnemund in St. Paul, MN. During the band’s most successful five years (1987 to 1992,) the band released two albums, “Vixen” and “Rev It Up,” which reached spot number 41 and 52 on the Billboard 200 charts respectively. Their self titled album, “Vixen” was featured at No. 43 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of 50 Greatest Hair Metal Albums of All Time.
